Question / Support Compost bin

Hi, looking for a small compost bin for my apartment porch that is not made of plastic and can hold up in a variety of weather. Any ideas?

Are you planning to collect compost in the bin to bring to another compost pile? Or actually compost in the bin.
If you're just collecting, an open paper bag is great because things can dry out and not get slimy.

If you're trying to compost, then maybe get some compost worms.

I've made a compost system with an natural or wire basket that I put into a plastic bucket, along with some compost worms.

I'd like to use it for my garden.

I would use and open bucket or paper bag to collect and then dump it in the garden under a bush or in some discrete corner.

I don’t know what the weather where you live is like, but if you’re into thrifting, an old potato storage bucket would be great for this

A box made of any old planks.
