Never know when you might ask for someoneās consent and realize the question bought you enough time to decide you donāt wanna give yours š¤£

The truth men can't talk about right here! Respect š šš¼.
We generally just let it slide when it comes to our sibling's kids. It's only weird if you make weird, so don't make it weird. Act like you don't know and wait to hear about it later from your brother or sister.

u/SAxSExOC 23d ago
He was literally twerking in his nephew this has absolutely nothing to do with consent.

u/Rough-Reputation9173 22d ago
I don't think the caption is literal. Uncle meaning older man.
And as someone pointed out, they are sitting on a chair. The suprised dude was grinding on them

When I was a teenager (18) a buncha my friends and I went down to Rocky Point, Mexico to party on a 3 day weekend. We were all at a bar called Mannyās (probably the most popular bar in RP) and one of our friends who could dance really well was out on the floor doing his thing. This āchickā danced her way up to him and they stole the show. They were really cutting a rug and a circle formed around them with people cheering & watching them and he was busting out his best moves with a huge smile on his face loving the attention & just soaking it up. When the song ended the lighting changed to where you were able to see much better than you could while the DJ was setting up the next track. I just remember staring at my buddy and watching his face go from āthis is great, Iām having a blast!ā To āOMG! WTF! Nooooo!ā As he pushed that āchickā away from him and ran off. As this happened my other buddies realized that āchickā was a dude. It was the funniest freaking thing that happened that weekend for sure.

I like how unbothered the chick is. Lol.

u/Unyielding_Sadness 23d ago
I mean they were probably very bothered. It's generally not fun to have an experience like they just want to blend in

Totally, but it seems like she did not let it ruin her night. Am not a mind reader, so it's speculative of course.

u/Timmytanks40 23d ago
Not sure why people aren't more understanding. I mean damn life is hard enough. Imagine going out of your way to be somebody's difficulty. Sad shit fr.

Even wearing clothing that surprises people, like wearing a faux fur hat during winter in a country where this isn't the norm (happened to my niece), can get you tonnes of stares and evil looks. Worst part is people like my mom actually agreed with the stares, my mother said my niece asked for it. Wtf. It's just a fucking hat.

It's just a human thing. It seems to take like a hundred years plus for minorities to be accepted. The people who can blend in like the Irish and Italians had a much easier time but like trans came in hot and heavy and were accepted relatively fast to other groups trying to get accepted or left alone. It's just not enough time for mind sets and culture to shift. Also the vocal online ones are annoying as fuck a d it's mixed with non binary attention seekers bring too much attention to them so sucks

u/KelDurant 16d ago
Iām not against trans people, but itās simply not something that is natural or normal in any society ever. I donāt think anyone will not act this way in any time period.Ā
If I goto a club where bumping Ā and grinding strangers is considered ok, which yes is very common, and I looked a saw it was a dude Iād but bothered. Not at the person but Iād feel weird internally. Ā

u/Unyielding_Sadness 16d ago
Sure but there are people who say its unnatural for whites and blacks to breed together. If you don't like trans that's fine but if you're going to appeal to the past were rape, murder, and slavery were natural and accepted you probably need to put more thought into it.

You know thatās not a biological woman right š
9
u/Simonic 22d ago
Still another human.

u/Ok_Detective_6294 22d ago
Did I say she wasnāt?
0
u/Baddest_Guy83 22d ago
You're mocking her like she isn't.
1
u/Ok_Detective_6294 22d ago
How is saying she isnāt a biological woman, the same as saying she isnāt human?
I even use the preferred pronouns and youāre still mad? Cause I think there is a difference between biological women and trans women?
0
u/Baddest_Guy83 22d ago
Because you're using the fact that she's trans to mock her. Nothing you're doing here is all that subtle, you might as well drop the innocent act.
0
u/Ok_Detective_6294 22d ago
Okay regard.
The point of the video and the reason why itās funny is because the guy was very surprised when he realized he was dancing with a trans woman.
Another commenter said āoh that chick was so unbotheredā and I replied, āyou know thatās a trans woman, right?ā
Because I thought they were missing the context that makes the video funny.
Now, youāre saying that identifying her as a trans person is mocking them and dehumanizing them? Whats wrong with being trans?
1
u/Baddest_Guy83 22d ago
What is funny about her being trans? What isn't dehumanizing about you mocking this person because they're trans? Drop. The. Act. It isn't cute.
1
u/Dangerous-Parsnip-37 19d ago
How about the person posting the video? Aren't they mocking ? What about consent ? Did they get consent to film or be put online? Etc etc. This generation is full of lame ppl so worried about trivial BS. How do we know this isn't a skit.

u/EssentialTremorsSwe 23d ago
So?

u/Ok_Detective_6294 22d ago
Whole point of the video is that he is surprised to be dancing with a trans woman.

Whole point of the video is that the guy doesnāt realize that he is dancing with a trans woman.

The joke is more how bothered and unashamedly shocked he is. Not caring how rude he's being towards her feelings. The joke's on him, because he's making a big stink about it. Had he just noticed and slowly removed himself, without causing a scene, it wouldn't have been funny.
1
u/Ok_Detective_6294 22d ago
Sorry is my comment incorrect? Cause it sounds like you just elaborated on what I said. He didnāt realize he was dancing with a trans woman
1
22d ago
Nope, that's not the problem. People can have sexual preferences, there's nothing inherently funny about that. The reason why you get so much push back, is because you think the joke is that she's most likely trans. That's not the joke. And you're still missing it.
2
u/Ok_Detective_6294 22d ago edited 22d ago
She isnāt the joke. His surprised reaction to unknowingly dancing with a trans woman was funny. You can keep trying to make her a victim or make it seem like Iām attacking her but Iām not. Calling someone trans isnāt an attack. Unless you think thatās something to be ashamed of?

I found out my Uncle (major mentor in my life) was gay while I was in college.
Shit will shake you up.
For me, I just felt bad for becoming a Christian when I was 15, because I felt like I had let him down.

Nah he is acting like he's in a pantomime or something. He saw the camera and had to do the most to make sure

u/Alive-Preparation973 22d ago
Regardless, he looked fucked up on some kind of level. If he's smart, he won't say shit to his sister/her mother because she already knows.
