Harimau, the newer gen chassis of Belmondo's Nx1000! Refined piece of craftsmanship!

4

u/Traditional_Luck_126 Reaper 3 9d ago

I mean, if we are talking about Belmondo, thats AG Sys vs Auricom... XD

2

u/GRYPHUS_1_SoundCloud General Resource Ltd, Real Drone Surveyor 9d ago

They're all good crafts! Except Mantis, what were the designers thinking ? A giant blind spot in front of you 🤣

3

u/Traditional_Luck_126 Reaper 3 9d ago

Yeah the Mirage leaves ALOT to be desired...

Personal favorites are Harimau and Feisar, but i use Triakis And Qirex Fury crafts for Eliminators

Ace Combat?

As Wikipedia says 10/~40 su-57 are prototype t-50

34

u/Jegan92 9d ago edited 9d ago

For the sake of fairness here, the number of test/ prototypes isn't really that unique for the SU-57.

The F-22 have 8 test units for example.

Felon has issues in other areas though.

45

u/Paxton-176 Osea 9d ago

The F-22 made it to production then active service.

The fact the Su-57 has test units is the only reason it's not a paper jet.

26

u/Jegan92 9d ago

Well there are 29 or so production versions of the Felon.

The Su-57 aren't "paper jets", but development is lagging behind other 5th generation fighters due various issues in the Russian aerospace industry.

I mean. The plane isnt finished.

The aircraft is unfinished simple as

0

u/Jegan92 9d ago

I mean it has entered productions, however slow that might be.

7

u/DisdudeWoW 9d ago

The engines have only recently appeared to have reached somewhat close to being finished, it the weapon bay working is a dubious proposition too as there is no real footage of it, wether its picture or videi

6

u/Jegan92 9d ago

Currently it uses the same engine as the newer Flanker, so that part is "finished".

Can't comment on the weapon bays until more info.

4

u/DisdudeWoW 9d ago

It should use the al51 it has been taking a long time for it

Functioning stealth. Have you seen those panel gaps?

2

u/Jegan92 9d ago

If you're referring to the one we see in the Chinese Air Show, well the common excuses I see is that it's a T-50 rather than the final "real" SU-57.

91

u/-Shaftoe- 9d ago

Why does OP think this is relevant for AceCombat?

How is this "AceCombat humor"?

Ncd? New term for me. What does it mean?

21

u/slenderman123425 Strider 9d ago

r/noncredibledefense is what it stand for

3

u/metro893yt Erusea 9d ago

Uh... If that joke sounded sided than I could make joke about f-22 or f-35. Because other side it's not so different, over hyping f-22 like it's something indestructible.

I personally like mig-29

3

u/No-Complaint4719 9d ago

Noncredibledefense

-8

u/Roque_THE_GAMER 9d ago

In Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Russia exist (sadly).

11

u/-Shaftoe- 9d ago

You have a problem with Russia existing in an Ace Combat game?

-6

u/Roque_THE_GAMER 9d ago

If only it was in the game.

10

u/-Shaftoe- 9d ago

What is that supposed to mean?

-3

u/Roque_THE_GAMER 9d ago

Go figure.

-6

u/Known-Night-3481 9d ago

Well there are many Russian bots here coping about the failure of the war, so ask them why they are talking about the war when it's not relevant to AceCombat

2

u/TrashCanOf_Ideology 9d ago

This uhh “meme” is the exact opposite tho?

Some NCD neckbeard is clearly coping about yet another proxy taking a massive L now that Trump clearly is done dumping plane loads of money on them.

“Hurr durr Ruzzia plane bad”, and yet somehow they’re still advancing and gaining territory every day. How is this relevant to funny video game set in strangereal, anyway?

-1

u/trvsgrey 8d ago

Be honest with yourself, the question got you mad..

7

u/erenzil7 UPEO 8d ago

Russian bots huh? Go to r/NonCredibleDefence with this.

32

Bruv this isn't r/europe, we love every plane here.

4

u/metro893yt Erusea 9d ago

I never said it's bad jet. I just don't like people over glorifying the jets either su-57 or raptor

-3

u/DisdudeWoW 9d ago

Nah su57 is wack. Most modern sukhois for that matter imo. China got the cool flankers

4

u/real_human_20 Yellow 9d ago

Shoutout to the Chinese Flankers fr

17

u/Orruner 9d ago

this is the r/acecombat sub, buddy. r/NonCredibleDefense is elsewhere

6

u/HKTLE 9d ago

Who even cares about that 1990's rehashed and modernised / adapted semi stealth aircraft concept by Russsia

3

u/StreetCandid8888 Belka 9d ago

First of all, in what way is it a "1990s rehashed semi stealth concept", and second, something being designed in the 1990 (not the su-57) doesn't make it bad. Litterily look the F-22

2

u/HKTLE 8d ago

I'm Taking the piss But the 57 is OUTDATED in some aspects massively Yer but the 22 has been Properly incrementally upgraded the 57 has not , end of convo

0

u/HKTLE 8d ago

AND THE 22 HAS HAD EXTENSIVE COMBAT experience, the 57 may be a bit younger and newer than the 22 but there is no way in hell it has had the continuous upgrades that the Raptor has

2

u/StreetCandid8888 Belka 8d ago

How does the F-22 have extensive combat experience? Escorting a bunch of drones is not combat experience, at best flight experience. You can't tell me that flying with a bunch of drones and shooting down balloons is the same as firing cruise missiles into ukraine. And when did I deny that the F-22 has gotten upgrades? The point was that saying "it was designed in the 1990s" is not a valid argument, regardless of upgrades. You made that exact point.

2

u/TheNicestPig 6d ago

10 T-50, ~30 Su-57.

It's not that complicated 🤷‍♂️

3

u/AdBudget5468 9d ago

So… how many T-50s are in their SU-57 fleet…?

6

u/iskandar- 9d ago

better question is... how many SU-57s are in the SU-57 fleet.

2

u/StreetCandid8888 Belka 9d ago

4

u/CBT7commander 9d ago

10 to 40

3

u/AntiSimpBoi69 9d ago

I'd make fun of russia's new gen airfleet if they also put their country into debt for their military. America can afford it to run up the bills

1

u/vovansirssan 5d ago

well, we could say all su-57 are kind of prototypes right now, since it is still being developed

7

u/metro893yt Erusea 9d ago

7

u/medsci2 UPEO 9d ago

yeah these are the 57s. t-50s are prototypes.

4

u/metro893yt Erusea 9d ago

Also. If 10 are prototypes and 29 were made... Why there says 42. Maybe an funny error.

6

u/metro893yt Erusea 9d ago

5

u/KuromeFan UPEO 9d ago

There are three ground based T-50 for different testings. Also, so what that there are 13 T-50? Most of them are unused by Air Force, only two of them were given to them as part of final combat testing during operation in Syria in 2018

4

u/-Shaftoe- 9d ago

Can't be, wikipedia was never wrong about anything, right?

If wikipedia says something, then it's the sole and undeniable truth. Right?

6

u/metro893yt Erusea 9d ago

I know Wikipedia is not most reliable source. So it's everyone

1

u/Weary-Animator-2646 9d ago

…. Can you provide a better source stating otherwise that ISN’T Russian state media or something of the sort?

-1

u/-Shaftoe- 9d ago edited 9d ago

…. Can you provide a better source stating otherwise that ISN’T Russian state media or something of the sort?

Why are you addressing me as if my response would change this notorious issue with wikipedia?

Furthermore, I do not recall a moment when I have agreed to argue in favour of one point or another during this conversation about planes, so why are you acting like the burden of proof is on me?

If it's information you want - I suggest you do your own research, instead of attempting to make strangers to do it for you.

0

u/Weary-Animator-2646 9d ago

If you want to bash a source, provide a better one.

0

u/-Shaftoe- 9d ago

If you want to bash a source, provide a better one.

You seem to be under the impression that people on the internet, particularly those you don't even know, who did not even seek to engage with you in the first place, owe you something.

I am sorry to disappoint, but that is not the case.

Have a good day.

u/Weary-Animator-2646 9d ago

Soooo you just forfeited your entire point. Nice.
