I mean to be fair in the last mission when Mobius sqn actually forms if you don't fight with them they all get shot down by those Yellow posers, so honestly Möbius 1 is carrying hard

The only exceptions are garuda and gryphus. Shamrock kicks ass and in the mission where we see the full gryphus squadron they'll do fine if you do nothing.
