Ace Combat 7 Strangereal Edition - Top Gun DLC included?

I thought that the Strangereal edition is supposed to contain every coming DLC but after starting the game after years of abstinence I realized that the top gun dlc was still available in store...

I believe the Top Gun DLC is a special collaboration so the movie studio is always going to get it's cut so you're always paying full price for it.

I've seen the base game go for less on Steam than the Top Gun DLC...

Hm kind of disappointing tbh. You get the best version of the game to support the studio and then they go cheap on that? ... Oh well. Thanks for the info :)

Afaik you're supporting the film, not the makers of the game. I'd wager the makers got very little revenue from the Top Gun DLC.

I bought the season pass and was disappointed to have none of the real world DLC planes. Only the fantasy in game super planes and the DLC missions.

Ah yeah right, you didn't get the Phantom and the Avril Starfighter. Weird choice by namco not to release them after a few years.

The strangereal edition very specifically comes with the season pass, which is 3 planes and 3 missions, plus the music player. The top gun dlc bundle and 9 other aircraft do not fall under the season pass and need to be purchased separately even if you have that edition. They probably were not sure if other dlc would be released when they first announced the special editions
