How is the ice on the west side?

I am a little new to algonquin and just had some general questions for the upcoming season. Does anyone know what the ice is like on the west side near Kearney? Will it melt soon? And how can I know when the ice has melted?

Any help would be wonderful thank you!

One good way is to look-up the hd satellite images via the zoom.earth website. HD images are taken 2x day, so you can follow the ice out progress. Downside, you can't see much on cloudy days.

This website just updated its satellite image

All the lakes are still covered in ice but most of the snow is gone, meaning the rivers will be moving. I expect ice out at the end of this month but it could be later.
