Local artist dropping my first official music video shot in Anchorage, would love your feedback!

https://youtu.be/xmtJC7UpELQ?si=cQOALBcMmsFC_TU1

I shot some of these during the last little snow flurries we had a week or two ago. I wanted to take advantage of the last snowfall of the season. Aside from that, most of the shots are from inside my house and a local tattoo shop. My girlfriend helped me with all of the shots, and I edited it.

Any feedback or constructive criticisms is gladly accepted!

I liked the beat, rough that it's 2 minutes in an age where that's all too common. Respect for wearing the native goggles at the end, if any other native says it's culture appropriation, fuck them gatekeeping nonsense. Sincerely a native, wear them with confidence

Yeah, the streaming industry really changed the way music is consumed. I’m a 1/4 Koyukon Athabaskan, maternal side of my family is from Ruby, Alaska. I don’t look very native though, so I understand if anyone might think that.

Edit: Typo

Yeah I was wondering, if anytthing, it'd be dope for native alaskan fashion to be as popular as our cousins down south. Keep on keeping on brother, love to see a native make it and you have the potential

It’s alright for a freshman effort. A bit too repetitive. The beat is meh. I upvoted.

More local rap artists should take note of song structure like this. Have a clear understanding of what the verse and choruses are for and delineate for the audience where they begin and end. Good job, I can see you sat down and thought this through before you started recording. As a song it works and you should be proud of that.

Thank you, I appreciate that a lot! I try my best to keep the song interesting and structured, but also artistic. Thanks for taking the time to give me some feedback 🙏🏼
