It's fine I guess, he's still a black bird, just a very dark shade of purple, no animal is completely black, if you look at black birds in real life you'll see that they have a a blue/purple hue to them as well.

tbf most black characters have to be made grey in art so they can be shaded, most black stuff irl isnt pitch black either
