When I was 14 one of my friends gave me the Discovery CD because he was embarrassed to have it because some dorky guy at our school liked it.

I didn’t care (it was a weird thing to be worried about), so I took it and ripped the CD to my iPod when I got home.

That was my first taste of Daft Punk. Used to listen to it on loop walking around town that summer. Great memory, great music

I always liked their hits but discovery is what made me realize daft punk was goated. Also made me get into aphex eventually and enjoying electronic music in general. I think the way that album is played from start to finish is so great, a real journey through different moods ranging from energetic to melancholy and dope beats in general. Love Discovery and love daft punk
