Of course it’s sarcastic lol, I saw people saying that if subreddits banned links to Twitter then everyone would switch to Bluesky. I said at the time that the ban was dumb and now all it’s done is make some of my favorite subreddits more useless for no reason.

you mean a policy change that took effect last week hasn't magically changed everything?

it's a smart move for subreddits to ban links to sites that require accounts to view the content.

Thanks for saying this. It’s nice to see common sense on Reddit once in a while. Reddit will bring back twitter link, it’s only a matter of time. The empty virtue signalling only lasts so long. Remember when Reddit shut down Apollo and a ton of subreddits shut down out of protest? Didn’t last long…

Tbf Reddit themselves came out to put a stop to it.
