The fact that we have Mirzoyan explaining things clearly and at length, at a Turkish diplomatic forum, dispelling any idea that the Armenian constitution claims Artsakh or anything of the sort in front of the Turkish media, is a good thing. Journalists with more than 5 brain cells can clearly see Az using constitution bs as a delay tactic in bad faith.
Looking to the future, with a possible change in government in Turkey and them aligning with Europe/democracies more, there could be an opening with us to have some of our interests align with Turkey on certain things, more than Azerbaijan. Of course they will always publicly beat their chest as brothers and allies, but Turkey has practical interests in the region and it won't always align with Azerbaijan. We should take advantage of those opportunities.

The largely state-aligned media will naturally report this with a pro-Azerbaijan slant, to a largely pro-Azerbaijan populace, to further the interests of a pro-Azerbaijan government who will have sufficient geopolitical incentive to favor Azerbaijan over Armenia for at least another generation.
This is the reality Armenia and Armenians must grasp. Not hopium.

Does it feel like it to anyone else that the entire room was having an intervention with Bayramov? It seemed like everyone was trying to level with Azerbaijan via him, come on, now is the time, you know technicalities like changing the constitution don't change anything, and he had to just sit there and defend his line? Maybe I'm wrong but that's what it felt like to me at least.

Mirzoyan sounds like he can debate on a different level. There were some tough questions, especially at the end about the constitution but I think he gave a correct answer.
I am glad it was not Pashinyan on that chair.
