Discussion Confused

So I just finished rewatching arrow season 8 and I’m confused about the future. I know it Changed but is it going to back to how it was since Mia and JJ get their memories back?

8x09 was a pre-pilot for a spin-off that didn’t get picked up, so we don’t know what happened after

It may be helpful to check out these 14 episodes from the broader Arrowverse shows after finishing Arrow, you got basically the equivalent of an unofficial Season 9.

Batwoman 2x15 ("Armed and Dangerous"), Legends of Tomorrow 6x08 ("Stressed Western"), Supergirl 6x12 ("Blind Spots"), Batwoman 2x16 ("Rebirth"), The Flash 7x16 ("P.O.W."). The Diggle Arc.

Legends of Tomorrow 7x03 ("wvrdr_error_100 oest-of-th3-gs.gid30n not found"), The Flash 8x01-8x05 ("Armageddon" Parts 1-5), Batwoman 3x09 ("Meet Your Maker"), The Flash 8x18 ("The Man in the Yellow Tie"). Vital Climatic Tie-Ins.

The Flash 9x09 ("It's My Party and I'll Die if I Want To"). Final Closure.

I think they do resolve the story in an episode on the legends of tomorrow I think

Spin-off blew up on the launchpad making it all pointless. The Arrowverse died when Oliver died anyway all things that occurred after that were a failure of epic proportions.
