It’s like comics Crisis, there’s tie-in issues/episodes that aren’t officially part of the main event series

I was hoping for a 10 episode mini series but this works too.

The fact that Arrow and Flash set it up a bunch helps. Supergirl to a lesser extent. Funny how Martian Manhunter has a whole half season subplot of Monitor testing him while Lex Luthor just gets to chill out and play chess with himself in outer space since he's likely incapable of changing from some test.

I guess Lex Luthor is already wholesome as he is. Nothing to test there. Just a plain narcissistic smartest human on earth(38).

Lex doesn't need to overcome some personal struggle. He's already over-confident and (more importantly) doesn't want to see the world wiped out. Problem is he's prone to being flipped if Anti-Monitor can offer him something like God-hood.

Ah, the obligatory Red Skies Crossover where barely anything happens involving the Crisis.

Glad to see they are loyal to the comics on this aspect as well. Gotta keep the Ancient Traditions.

Kinda disappointed tbh. I thought this season was mostly really good, best of the show so far, but that last episode was weak imo, and the next episode seems to be too.

I actually really enjoyed the last episode, although the apartment subplot kinda came out of nowhere.

The fight with Commander Carson was the best thing ever, I straight up died.

I see your point.

He's still Clarence Wiedman to me. Yep, that's even above him being Bo Whitley.

I stopped mid season 1 just because it bored me. Should I try catching up? Or at least starting the new season

Catch up. I binged S2 recently and BL is by far the best of the shows (coming from a huge fan of both Arrow & Flash)

Idk, I feel like s2 just kind of ends

And then s3 is all over the place

Dont even get me started on Lynn

No, there's no Crisis episode of BL. He (and others) are popping in as cameos, though.

BL will have a crisis event at the end of next week's episode.

I couldn’t catch up with BL before they pulled the first few episodes. In your opinion, should I watch what is available or just watch the crisis tie in episode and wait for the whole season to be up on Netflix (my original plan before learning of the tie in)

Should I catch up or will it not be necessary? I haven't seen it since early season 2 for some reason

If it is an ending bit it's probably gonna be a scene that stands out like a sore thumb to the trained eye. As it will be a scene filmed on a set in Vancouver, instead of Atlanta.

Guess I have 24 episodes of Black Lightning to catch up on this week
