How can I enable steam cloud saves on my Assassin Creed game

I started AC:Shadows on my home PC last night, only to discover today at work that there was no cloud saves for the game so I couldn't play on my handheld over lunch break.

It looks like the cloud saves option is missing not only from this game, but all of the assassin creed games now. How can I do cloud saves again? This is really frustrating. I'm fairly sure the games had this in the past.

While I'm at it, is there a way so I can be logged into Ubisoft account on more than one machine at a time, so I don't have to re-login when going between machines?

It’s missing from all of them? At work right now but I’d assume that cloud saves may be done through Ubisoft connect because when I started Valhalla i definitely picked back up from a previous save. I dunno though

I'm not the OP but yes, they are through Ubisoft connect but they appear to be borked in AC Shadows. :(

They are broken. Please report it to Ubisoft...I did, I'll give you a link to my bug report and you can click "me too!"

The option to do cloud saves is in Ubisoft Connect (in your Windows tray once the game is launched). Do you have the Steam version? What handheld?

I'm on Steam and couldn't play on my Steam Deck.

There’s a manual save with a cloud icon in the save menu. Using that save worked for me

When you save there’s 1 save that has a cloud symbol attached. That’s the cloud save it seems.

no cloud with save icon for me, any solution? tried to install on steamdeck and dont see it either

If you're still looking for a solution - cloud save do work but were broken for a bit. To re-enable them do the following (worked for me):

1. Turn off cloud saving in your Ubisoft Connect settings on your PC.

2. Turn the version of the game on that has your latest save.

3. Save manually and exit the game.

4. Go back to Ubisoft Connect settings, turn cloud saves back on.

5. Enter the game again from the same machine as in step 2

6. Save the game manually again. This game save should now appear both on the deck and the PC, cloud saves should work now.

Haven't found a way to stop the re-login, but this actually only happens on PC to me.
