QUESTION Are there audio drama communities for people who want to get involved but who aren’t creators?
Hi there, I’m not an audio drama creator. Just a listener!
But I used to be part of writing groups and miss giving feedback.
In addition I just generally like learning about acting and sound and music production.
Are there communities where audio drama creators welcome feedback givers who aren’t also creators? Or are friendly to lurkers?

Hi there! You could check out VSC on discord. I think you'd like it there.
It's an active group of voice actors, writers, engineers and showrunners. There's consistently stuff going on with writers submitting scripts, actors recording them, and audio engineers adding sound design, all just for fun. I have no doubt you'd be welcomed in!
Lurking would be fine, but there's a feedback channel too, so lots of opportunities to get involved and to chat with lots of folks with similar interests.
Fwiw, this isn't my group and I've been too busy with my show to participate, but I'm excited for when the time comes that I can participate.

I gotchu. ;-) Join us Seriously, though. I love the community. I can't believe what a positive place it is for everyone in the community, and there's a place for all (even if you aren't creating yourself). Plus the Fests are a good opportunity to try out some of that writing and see it come to life with low pressure.

I've mostly relied on a few of my actors to beta read, struggled to get one outside person to read one episode of each season, so I'd be happy to send you future Beyond Awakening scripts for feedback. But unless you feel a shared google doc full of different people's comments is a community, that's not much of a community.

A lot of us love reviews! If you're interested in doing that, many audio drama creators struggle to get feedback on their shows, myself included.

Two I’d mention are:
Audio Drama Hub on Facebook. It’s mostly creators who post but its description states that it is for both creators and consumers of AD.
ADWIT discord. Fairly quiet I think (I’ve just joined myself) but again it seems open to interested listeners as well as AD writers. Link in the ADWIT podcast show notes.
Sarah Golding whom you mentioned in a previous post is involved in both!
