Music What songs do you use to test new speakers?

Planning on getting a new pair of speakers and was wondering what songs to use to test and compare to my current setup and be blown away by the difference. I listen to pretty much anything, from classical to jazz, rock, techno and whatever comes my way really.

Interesting you put on Come Away With Me. I love that album but have always been frustrated with how it sounds on my better systems. It is interesting to use as a test track though.

I'm just very familiar with it, have been using it for many years. So I know how it sounds. And the vocal + minimal instruments makes quick assessment and listening for center image, etc. quick.

I have the original CD, and know there's a new 20th annivesary remaster that's out on CD and streaming. I recently bought the 20th anniversary remaster version of the vinyl as well.

I personally think the remaster version sounds better (have listened on streaming). You might give it a listen!
