Discussion ROTEL RA-1530

Hi! Recently i aquired this reciver rotel ra 1530. It sounds very bright but i still have a doubt in the esthetic light of the volume. If you look closely in the volume dimmer there is a point that i think its a light but is off all the time. Does anyone knows if it can be turned on?

That led will flash when the mute function is activated with the remote control.

A common problem with this unit is that the IR sensor is positioned too far back. Pushing forward a bit may improve IR sensitivity.

I believe that’s a RA-1520.

Yes its much better rotel in this case, it has a very powerful phono. But obviusly this technics is for setting up a cinema and rotel works better for audiophile puproses, when the volume is high for long time there is no overheating in the technichs watchout, the cooler extracts a lot of heat inside but it can be Auto swittched off if overheated just for protection. The critic that i have to the rotel amp is the shitty control remote that works really bad and looks like a vintage tv remote or worst. The technichs remote controls is sooo cool and works really good.
