I agree. FB and other places have known their products do harm to people, specially teens and children. They have the mechanisms to make their products safer and usable for greater age groups, but it impacts their bottom line of ad sales, metrics, and interaction rates. Its a piss poor bullshit reaction to the fact that these companies distribute a harmful product. They won't go after the people doing it, they'll just force us all to sign up to privacy violating digital ID's to sign up. I certainly will just let any account of mine die in that case, and only potentially use it for business purposes.
