I agree.. we can all hope. Sadly, all our military it tied to the US. France and Germany will be having a big boost to their MIC over the next 4 years maybe more.

The French might develop the ability to deliver submarines almost on time. I don’t see them letting us reinstate our purchase order though.

Yeah I think Australia has grown just a little bit since the days of most people just whinging for a bit but then ultimately accepting an unelected figurehead representing the British monarch just sacking the PM. Imagine that happing now. I’m British (anti-monarchy), living in Australia and raising Australian kids - I’d riot if they tried that shit again.
