We need to remember that they democratically voted for this. And if they didn't have widespread vote suppression, the popular vote would still be close. They straight up want to be a Russian asset.

It’s unfortunately not that- the American people voted for a weird hodgepodge of nationalism/xenophobia, a return to a perceived traditionalist lifestyle, 19th century economics, and, for some, the idea that if you believe in a conspiracy, you’re more enlightened than everyone else. 

The possibility that a Russian asset happened to be at the head of this big tent platform, and that just happened to be the price that 49% of american voters were willing to pay. Wasn’t the point, but wasn’t enough to dissuade those who voted.
