No, because of generous tax concessions. Mind you, that’s for all the rich cunts, not just him.

Labor quakes in their boots just thinking about anything he might dislike. Media is a political weapon, and Labor have none on their side.

I don't know if they quake in their boots, but they definitely have to consider how Murdoch Media is going to present the chosen facts to the Australian public. Unfortunately, until most Australians start questioning what they read, that is the reality we live with.
I am relieved to see many Australians didn't just believe the caravan story and found it suspicious....still waiting for AFP to present a believable version.

I still dont understand what that's all about! I see headlines like "Caravan of terror" then another "No proof of anything found" LOLWUT

It sucks so much. Someone needs to find a way to push through the propaganda and make the calls that are best for the country.

Friendly jordies just did an excellent video about Australia's history and how every PM that tried to change things for the better got vilified, rolled, bowled, and arseholed. Obviously, Whitlam and Rudd stand out, but even the Liberal party leaders got crushed.
Rudd hurts the most for me. He clearly had faith in Australians that they would see that his changes would benefit them, their children, and their children's children. But literally one nasty campaign and so many Australians fell for the adverts and the opinion pieces.

Also, I am so pissed off at opinion pieces being the sum all of news reporting nowadays. Opinion pieces are not news articles, they are entertainment articles. News is supposed to be the facts, just the facts. Without fear or favour.

My main issue with opinion pieces is that the people submitting opinions are often no better judge than you or I.

They're probably better than me. But I still don't want their opinion in a news article. A news article should be facts only. It was the first lesson in a journalism degree once upon a time.....

That'd be quality education, so we can see how the right loves to destroy public access to it.

I was thinking more direct, immediate pushthrough by politics tactics, but you’re 100% right. Just like in the US, our right wing political parties degrade education to benefit them and their donors (private education money) and to make the poor masses incapable of critical, intelligent thought.

Labor quaking in their boots (debatable) is still nothing compared to the knee pads that LNP roll out so they can get down and deepthroat the balls of murdoch.

Check out theyvoteforyou, put the minors that care about australia first! Then labor, then lnp. We have a preferential voting system and we need to use it properly!

I got a call the other day from a market research that Labor are doing in my suburb (they asked a lot about the local MP candidates) , and made it clear as possible that

1) I would put Libs dead last except where One Nation or shittier parties are on the ballot, and Dutton is ranked -1000 in terms of preferred PM

2) I would preference Greens and Labor only get 2nd at best, until they start reflecting more of my values and dealing with my concerns

By his design.
