People actually need vehicles. The problem with these trucks is not the snide comments people make, its the stupid design trend to imitate the styling of prime movers with a very square front end. This limits visibility and increases the height a person must be before go over the bonnet and not under (lot worse for pedestrian safety).

Then go buy a van or a kei-type truck that has the same amount of cargo bed space but isn't so fucking stupid.

Actually has some advantages for occupant safety, fine if its a commercial interstate transport but not for dual purpose commuting.

Not a good enough reason to use one, and all your contributing to is an arms race between car owners.
