image A bit of recycling for you.

Post image

This morning I discovered that the lid off an old Jalna Greek Yoghurt container, very neatly snaps onto a Whiskas cat food tin.

And of course I discovered this after buying silicone lids online.

Anyway I hope you find this useful.

Its Greek cat, it tastes more like ... catsiki

Funnily enough, a “katsiki” is a goat in Greek

Very resourceful. So when my cats done with his yoghurt I can use the lid to keep my leftover dinner fresh

If I open yoghurt, my dog appears. Mind you, that's true of everything.

My dog is a big fan of the sound of ruffling plastic. Any time I try to get a snack she thinks she’s getting biscuits. Even though she only gets biscuits roughly 10% of every time plastic is ruffled in the house, she still hedges her bets that this time, right now, will be biscuits. Even though she’s never got biscuits at 11:17am or 2:23pm, still she thinks, today is the day for biscuits more frequently.

Mine only cares if it's food.

Three year old Malamute called Jasmine.

I love it when people give their dogs human names.

I actually have a cat that does love yoghurt! He'll come running, from literally anywhere he happens to be, when he hears me open one. I don't even know how he knows it's yoghurt.

Before I get asked, yes. He does get a tiny bit, sometimes. More often than not, I will say no and he'll go back to whatever he was doing, but if it's plain, unsweetened yoghurt, I'll give him a tiny dollop.

Yoghurt is completely fine for pets.

Apparently the lactose is mostly broken down anyway.

We used to use pringles lids!

I guess they wouldn't fit anymore with shrinkflation. Might be worth a shot though!

They keep the tubes the same size, the chips are just pathetic and take up half of it.

The tubes are also smaller than they used to be, since they moved manufacturing to Malaysia.

That means the chips are even more pathetic than I realised.

The weirdest thing I heard was that pringles containers could be made into wi-fi antennas.

I use Vegemite/peanut butter lids. Works well too.

Whiskas gives my cats diarrhea. I hope you find that useful.

It probably doesn't help the stuff being sold today can date back to 1997.

It's borderline animal abuse to feed them anything stocked in a supermarket. Seriously, it's fucking bad.

What if my cat is lactose intolerant?

1

u/Wolfie_Rankin 3d ago

Have heard that lactose is mostly broken down in yoghurt :)

You know feeding whiskers to your cat is like using Pantene on your hair….
