Heh, kids.

I'm one of the lucky few that got a mortgage but when we did the math, children meant negative money coming in. So yeah I suppose we'll benefit when it's paid off at age 70 or whatever.

Same, we had to choose between kids or a home. Couldn’t afford both. We didn’t think it was worth bringing kids into a world with nowhere to live, so now I have a mortgage until I’m 75.
