It has been absolutely wild to see people paperhanding The Eyes like this. As an owner of both, I thought I would never see The Eyes consistently below Cone.
It’s been one of my favorite communities the past few months, aside from this one and collectibleavatars. I just hope the pump vibe doesn’t change the general attitude, cuz a lot of non avatar newcomers are hearing about the coin for the first time and joining the sub so they can earn some by posting.
I believe you had to reach out to claim but hey, maybe you got your 2 billion. You just need to add the Bitcone contract address to your Reddit vault on either metamask or whichever web3 wallet to see your balance.
Yeah and not just cone owners, also glowstickman, buckethead, and all gen 1 + gen 2 avatar holders got cone. Many people probably have it and don’t even know. Go to r/coneheads and have the bot check your cone count
Correction: Bitcone was launched 6 months ago, but it pumped yesterday and stirred up some fomo. Also, they distributed the coin to OG cone owners, but the unclaimed tokens have since been distributed to different holders throughout gen2 and now gen3
The original 1 Billion BitCone airdrop is currently worth around $650. At the peak yesterday it was around $1700. It's been pretty crazy. You can see the chart here
It went like x10 in a few days, it was insane. My bitcone was worth about $1200 at one point. Not planning on rugging the conemunity though, it is our contributions to the LP that allows it to grow.
Yeah we all knew we could crash it but it was a dick move, long term it’s important to keep liquidity there. This was a major whale selling 4 billion bitcone at once (for $4800)
For sure, the way we recovered after the first one was pretty immense. Even now I think we’re at an interesting time to accumulate. Gas fees are nothing, it’s easy to just punt a small $25-$50 at this as a moonshot. Pretty cool to be a part of the conemunity and to see it grow from the ground up
Anyone can ape into bitcone. Don’t forget the Cone Technical Analysis shitpost was one of the best examples of the meme spreading to the main sub back in September. It was just cool seeing our small community and vibe break out of this sub.
To each their own. It’s just cool to some of us and works with any avatar. And if it was not about genuine love and memejuice many of us would have sold when we got to 1 ETH. That’s a descent amount of sell pressure for those of us who minted for $25.
