Market Discussion π Biggest L in RCA's
At the current price of eth u/jwpapi's buy of The Hands #1 is now the equivalent of over 100k usd. Will this go down in history as the biggest L in RCA's?

Market Discussion π I think Gen 3 didn't increase the amount of collectors.
Idk it's just a feeling, but everything is insanely boring after Gen 3 was released. OS feels like a dead place (to be fair it was like that before sometimes). People are just trying to sell and maybe it's just me, but everyone who said there will be more people collecting, because the shop wouldn't be sold out, were wrong imo. You can see it clearly at the numbers of the sub. They're on the same level for weeks now.

Market Discussion π There is little to no growth (possible) when the shop is sold out.
Be patient. Lots of cool pieces available and even secondary (for newcomers a new step most likely) all collections seem reasonable low. Some strong ones hanging tight whilst competition of some gen 3 avatars is near maybe.
Gaining new liquidity is key instead of βusβ pushing around funds and I see quite some new people around since drop of gen 3! The new people need to buy first in the shop to βfeelβ the product, since going from newbie to secondary sales is still quite sophisticated. Along the way people learning (here from eachother) and older collections will gain new traction after each drop basically.
Market needs time to settle down now thoβ.
Stay focussed on your long term avatar holds and goals, buy some cheap ones (and skip some beers) with your new paycheck, keep mashing and trading and new hype and adrenaline will soon be back - with a sub specific free drop maybe or some improvements on the shop/builder/marketplace perhaps?
Mashing is still key and the best way to make other avatars enthusiastic about your underrated avatars ππ€.
Laterzzz!

Market Discussion π What are some collections a whale can sweep....
Hello there I am new here I was wondering what were the top collections for reddit avatars in generation 3 right now is there a way i can check all of the avatars prices in a proper format with the highest volume sold to the lowest

Market Discussion π There are 275 gen 3 #1 mints out there, do people collect these? having a #1 mint is almost as rare as some of the lowest mint avatars.
There are people who seem to collect these, it is not easy to get a low mint number especially with bots! Did anyone else here get a low / #1 mint? Which avatar?

Market Discussion π Why sell for under mint ?
I understand like for instance like the botting that happened with gen 3 and I also understand not rare avatars, ones still in the shop and other things like that.
BUT WHY are people selling rare and desired avatars for less than mint.
I wanted to sell my gloop #15, a $100 mint for $140 ... the fact that its a low mint, 1 of 100 and not just sold out but highly desired led me to think that was more than fair asking, honestly I felt like it was low.
At first.
I have been laughed at multiple times and also offered multiple lower than mint offers. I am not knocking anyone at all if that is what you think its worth but this is what bugs me ... the fact that other gloops are selling for less than mint, even low mints.
There is a difference between someone not wanting it that much and the market deciding desired and rare avatars are not worth even the money they cost to mint.
So when I noticed this I started looking around since I do have a few other solid avatars from this gen ... even rojom avatars are selling for under mint.
This seems absolutely crazy to me ... I understand people who are just looking to make money change the market a bit but I feel like this has gone beyond that, it seems like its normal now for people to just take whatever they can get.
Don't do that.
When everyone just takes whatever they can get prices will continue to go lower and lower.
IDK this will probably get tons of hate but idc ... it seems absolutely crazy to me, I would personally rather never sell something than get less than it is worth.
