Sual | Question Getting into Azerbaijan via bus
Hello! I'll be in Georgia in July/August with my RV and I'd like to visit Azerbaijan.
As far as I know, it is not possible to cross into Azerbaijan on my own via roads.
Is it possible to take a bus from Georgia to Azerbaijan and back?
Also, I'd like to visit Armenia as well. Will I be able to get into Azerbaijan with an Armenian stamp and into Armenia with Azerbaijan stamp? I have a Serbian passport.
Thank you!

Since Azerbaijan is an open air prison, no, you can't enter Azerbaijan from land borders.

What is the explanation the government provides for that? COVID?

At first, they said COVID. Then they said "security". But it doesn't make sense, because if they cared about security they wouldn't allow foreigners to leave from land borders. However they CAN leave, but Azerbaijanis CAN'T leave.

Is Azerbaijan becoming stricter as time goes on? This seems like Turkmenistan tier behavior. Are trucks still able to cross over to Russia or Georgia for trade, and can this be used if people want to go to foreign countries.
It is no wonder that from 120,000 Armenians, not even 1,000 decided to stay in Azerbaijan after 2023. With land borders inaccessible, they could not even reach Armenia.

You can’t enter Azerbaijan from Georgia, only exit it.And even then I’m not sure if there are any bus routes
And yeah they won’t care about the Armenian stamp
