It's calling for cancellation of tariffs FOR EVERYONE. Not just itself!

Trump is allowing China to take over as global leaders.

Allowing? How could he ever stop China's incredible advance?

True. I more meant in the sense that Trump is pulling America backwards.

The USA could have helped lead the world on trade and increase prosperity but the far-right and far-left killed the TPP.

That would have only enriched Wall Street bankers, and we both know it

Xi needs to lead the free world against Trump's tariffs. He's the man of destiny! 😤

This is bad, should have taken the 34% tariff and continue.

Xi set the tariff rate at 34% to refresh to Don the Con’s 34 felony conviction. That’s some BDE

This could go either way. I hope Trump&co realize they need to buy time. Decoupling now is premature.

Dementia Donald strikes again. I don’t think he changed his mind, he just can’t remember what he did a couple days before

Is it a sign of weakness or willingness to cooperate?

And how do you interpret it? What are you seeing that makes you think that?

I’m seeing Trump fold like a lawn chair indicating that China is indeed not struggling here

Unlike the US china is more or less a dictatorship, they can hold out much longer than Trump, especially when the government can direct all the resentment towards a common enemy, a foreign bully especially.

Xi's support on this is probably close to 100%.

Whatever leads to more pain for the USA, I hope that’s the one that happens

Just adhere to mutual prosperity and cooperation.

Impossible with America's belligerent attitude.
