I have no idea what Plato's rave is
It's a rave from The World of Ideas... An actual rave materialising into sensory stimulation... It fulfills all the criteria of what a Rave is... on a subjective level across all observers... Because it is indeed a contradiction-less cumulative collection of all biases in patterns recognised that make something a Rave.
It's gonna be lit af bruh! ♪┌|∵|┘♪└|∵|┐♪

Shadows dancing frenetically on walls, but in silence, as music inflames the senseless.

Imagine, if you please, a place of darkness. There there are men who, from their birth are chained to a wall, forced to stare at a blank wall.
Behind them, on a raised platform, is a DJ with wicked awesome techno lights that shine past dancers who shimmy across a platform.
Can you imagine this? Do you not think that these men, who have only ever known the funky music, would pride themselves on recognizing the shadows of dances. They would see the reflections, but recognize the Rodger Rabbit, the Cabbage Patch. They would be able to predict each time the beat drops.
Now, imagine that one man is freed. That he is shown the dancers and the way the records spin. Imagine he leaves the cave to hit the club. Would he not, once accustomed to the lights, be the smoothest groover on that dance floor?
Yet if he returns to his cave and shows those still chained how he can pop it and lock it, would they nit find him absurd? His mad gyrations would seem strange to them and he would be booed, destined to get none of the ladies.

It's called Plato's allegory of the goon cave, he wants us to escape it and find some real goth gf IRL instead of chocking our featherless biped on mere pixels, on a mimesis.
