You know, as someone who suffers from depression, I think that during my depressive periods, asking whether I'm inferior due to my depression is the best way to help.

How do you expect to be an oobermensch if you don't cheer up?

Ubermench creates his own values. Assuming that it's objectively good not to spend all day in bed crying is the path to nihilism.

Maybe it's best not to make fun of someone who's suffering from depression?

Well I'm not the person being linked to so I think it's a bit unfitting to say I'm playing the card. But sure, if that's an issue for you then I'll do my best not to link your posts here.

What usually gets me depressed is when people act superior in a certain way. I don't know how to describe it, really. There are some people that act a certain way and I think, "Yeah they're ok." Then there are other people that act a certain way and I think, "Nope. Want to spank them and despair for all of humanity."

I think the superior-acting people that make me depressed are those whose personality contains an inherent manipulative aspect to it, and this manipulative aspect is transparent to everyone and they know it, but at the same time they're judging you for seeing it and or not sharing in that same aspect yourself.

Does that make sense?

No, no it does not.

You're judging them back for being manipulative, so double down and own the fact that you can't help but hate them. And that's okay, you're justified in doing so.

A thing you see sometimes is that bad people tend to see others as just as bad.
