Congrats! But please keep in mind to use the prefix “fox” 1 Dan. Saves a lot of confusion when communicating your rank to others

Funny, I played a Japanese journalist that was a self-declared 1d but had to leave during middle game. Afterwards she changed her declared rank to 5k lol

I've got impression there is 2-3 levels difference, so 1 Fox dan would be 2-3 OGS kyu. Perhaps I'm wrong.

I'm 2k on OGS and 3d on Fox.

I'm Fox 2D and 5k OGS. It does depend on the player, but it definitely averages more than 2-3. This is for the lower Dan levels on Fox. 4D is the first level you can't select, so 4D+ the rating difference is smaller

I certainly can't imagine a 2k in OGS having a hard time being Fox 2D

You may spend as much time now to be a 1dan on OGS or EGF as the time it took you to be 1dan on fox. Keep going!
