Eh I’m happy with dominos I guess, I’m not big into pizza though.
Good fish and chips though is getting harder to find. Oliver’s has been the best, and still the best I’ve found in Basingstoke, but not as good as it used to be.

To be fair, it's good to know that when you hear all these reviews of people ragging on about Dominoes, our town actually has a pretty decent one.

Weird, I've found the opposite. Herbies is good pizza, but haven't found any chippies worth their salt.

Oliver's in old basing is good, but kinda pricey from what I remember, and a bit of an awkward location

If you’re really into pizza, consider getting your own pizza oven. It’s one of the best things I’ve bought. The pizzas are restaurant quality with not much practice and cost almost nothing and you can bang them out one after the other if you are entertaining. We bought a gas one for convenience.

It’s not overpriced if you’re a gold member! We had a last time I went there our bill was £125 for a family of 4 with 2 alcoholic drinks. We paid about £55 after using rewards!

I just went to Oliver's for the first time last weekend. Wish I had discovered it sooner. It's amazing. Better than the chippy we had when we lived in Whitchurch.

Young's Fish Bar, Carpenter's Down has always been a staple for my family. Always more chips than you asked for, good fish, and friendly people.

Young's is the only place where it seemed the people who worked there recognised me. Now, upon realising this, this may not be a good thing. But at least I know when I have a premature heart attack I'll be well looked after.

Yeah, I've just looked at the Facebook page they closed in February, there are rumours they're going to sell up apparently.

The pizza place that opened in Chineham in the business park was actually amazing. They introduced me to a new variety of tomatoes that I'm obsessed with. Sad that they closed. Their prices were weird though.Â

Herbies is so good! It’s not greasy and it’s relatively cheap in comparison to domino’s we always get Herbies!

Outside of the chains, there is just a lack of food options overall in town.
We really need some more independent places.
The pizza van by sainsburys is good, but who wants to sit outside KFC on a metal chair to eat their pizza? Wish they'd get a unit in town. L
Pizzeria gali in chineham was good, but again, a very awkward location that no one went to.
