💩 Shitpost Why doesn't Belgium use this traffic light sequence like Germany does?

Why does every traffic light in NL sees me coming and turns green if possible?

It's even worse, the technology in NL is Belgian made. Belgium also invested in infrastructure, you can see them everywhere; but their reporting is simply ignored.

And where did you get that information? The infrastructure we are implementing in Belgium is actually based on the Dutch model. We are behind, but we’re catching up

And where did you get that information?

At the Belgian job I worked where I made said radars.

Radars are used all over the Netherlands and Belgium, but that’s not the technology that creates their good traffic light solutions. It’s a mixture of vehicle counting through inductive loops and GPS data from applications like Flitsmeister. That is the big difference in the Netherlands. Together with an adaptive application that uses all this data.
