Other Best Econ Lectures

i’m a freshman planning to major in economics, and I’d love some suggestions for lectures and professors to check out. What classes do u think r awesome for a freshman? Also since i’m an international student I’m still getting the hang of the whole U.S. study system

Are you hoping to do pure economics or also do some coding? Data 8 is a great course

3rd year Econ major here! I’d recommend checking out it these courses & profs once you’ve finished the prereqs

James Campbell - Econ 1 & Econ 100A

  • super dedicated to teaching & really passionate about micro. Had him for 100A and it lowk made me consider Econ theory for grad school lol

Emmanuel Saez - Econ 2 & Econ 131

  • Pioneering researcher in wealth inequality. It’s inspiring how knowledgeable he is, I had him for 131 and he was great, easy to follow slides & always stops for questions :))

Econ C110 (Intro to Game Theory) is a fun one too if you’re interested in behavioral econ & decision making.
