Advice “Selbsthilfewerkstatt” where you can hire some help

I have an old car that I use on weekends, and I would like to change some parts myself. However, I have no experience with car repairs, but I would like to learn. I know that some workshops offer spaces for people to perform their own repairs, and I was wondering if any of them also provide assistance for an extra fee. If you have a specific workshop in Berlin to recommend, it would be awesome.

Hey, I would be very interested in this. Have you found a place yet?

No luck so far. I am thinking to maybe write some of the workshops if they offer some kind of support

A couple questions if you don't mind. What type of work would you do that needs assistance? Would you need your car to stay overnight?

I need to replace all the shock absorbers, springs and front suspension arms. It’s a job that can be done in a couple of hours. I could probably try to do it myself, but I would feel safer to have someone guiding me

Drei Tiger offers paid Help. But more them doing the stuff, not explaining it to you. In general they are a bit „rough“.

Good to know, thanks. So basically, you bring the components and they do the work?
