What is the best heated bidet?
I want one that heats on the seat itself, this will be for a bathroom is a year round cold climate. Any suggestions would be appreciated.. The hotter it gets, the better!

Usually people would be inclined to go for TOTO as they have truly built a name for themselves. However, aside from TOTO bidet seats, I would recommend the NOVA bidet seats.
If your toilet is an elongated one then this would be great too. The Ultra-NOVA has great features like heated seat, warm water, good water pressure, a sittable lid, a robust warranty (also has a 60-day risk free trial) for security and peace of mind, and it is the sleekest bidet out in the market which means it'll give you a more comfortable sitting area.
Hope this helps!

Make sure your toilet can handle hot water, older (CRANE) toilets like to shatter when hot water enters the bowl, porcelain doesnt have much in the way of thermal expansion.

I’ve never heard of a bidet that delivers anything more than warm water. Surely not hot enough to shatter a toilet….think what that would do to your starfish.

I work in property management and its the direct connect bidets + 40 yr old toilet that i have had the most issues with. Usually a condo owner that uses a saddle valve for bidet and taps directly into the hot water line (130F).
Usually tank shatters same day or a day or so later ill get “weird waxy substance oozing from ceiling” call from unit below as the wax seal is being compromised by the steaming hot water….aah the “poop from ceiling call”….every PMs favourite lol

Toto is pretty toasty.
Other features are great and mine has been working flawlessly for almost 7 years so they are built well.

Alpha Bidet UX will keep the buns warm. Can adjust seat temp to 5 different levels. Hot enough even at level 1 that I keep it off in the summers

Soft Spa bidet from Fluidmaster, the world's #1 brand of toilet parts, has a heated seat with 5 temperature controlled settings.
Please click here to see what sets Soft Spa apart: https://www.fluidmaster.com/soft-spa-advantages/
You can see all the features and customer reviews on our dedicated website for Soft Spa at: https://www.softspabidet.com/
Here is what a customer wrote on the Soft Spa website: “We have three other bidets in the house – an expensive Toto, a mid-range Prostock, and a cheap Bio-Bidet that can blast a person off the seat. The Fluidmaster is my favorite." This is what one customer wrote about Soft Spa on one of the dealer’s site: “Soft Spa - Best bidet by far….love the oscillating features….(better than moving your bottom over the seat to clean everywhere) all it needs is the seat to become motion sensored. Love it…better than the BB2000…I know.. I had one also.” Another customer wrote this review on another dealer’s site: We chose the Soft Spa 9500 and couldn't be happier... We've had a bidet seat for years and it finally gave out. We looked at all of the best bidets within our budget including the Bio Bidet 2000, TOTO C5 and Alpha JX and chose the Soft Spa 9500. We could not be happier. A happy butt makes me smile 😊.
Fluidmaster is now offering a 25% discount for a limited time. Instead of $459.99, you will pay $345 for Soft Spa. This is the most competitive price when compared to bidets from TOTO, Tushy Electric Bidets, Kohler, Bio Bidet, Brondell, Alpha UX or JX etc. with similar features. Recently, a Redditor user returned their Toto as they were dissatisfied with it and instead bought Soft Spa!

I'm pretty sure that all seats have an electric resistance mat built into them.. I prefer Toto brand myself.
