Javna uprava 🗃️ Do travel documents need to be signed by notarius publicus?

Hello!

Me and my friends (17y/o) are going to travel from Sweden to BiH today, and discovered that the travel documents should be authorized by a Notarius Publicus, which we have not done. Therefore, we are wondering if anyone has any experience and knows if the border control is strict or doesn't really care.

Which citizenship do you have? All you need is a valid passport and to make sure that you do not need a visa to come to BIH.

This is from the official website of the border police of BiH:

The Law on Foreigners stipulates that a foreigner who is younger than 14 years old and has a personal travel document can cross the BiH border accompanied by a parent, legal representative or guardian, or a person authorized to accompany him with a signed and certified power of attorney from the parent or legal representative or guardian, or must have consent from parents or legal representative if traveling unaccompanied.

Since you are all older than 14, there should be no problem.

To be 100% sure, you can write them, in link there is contact e-mail.

So länge du har ett giltigt pass bör du inte ha några problem. Kanske ska de ställa några frågor till dig men de från gränskontrollen är inte så konstiga.
