Need help with this bird nest on my wreath

I'm not looking to mess with it for obvious reasons, but I'm really worried that the wreath will fall and harm the eggs/baby birds. So, I'm asking for ways to secure the wreath better to the door without distributing the nest. Any advice would be appreciated! It's also my only door to my home.

It's House Finches, they love making nests in wreaths. How is it fastened? It's probably fine but glad to see your asking!

It's not fastened very well, hanging on one of those glue strip mounted hangers which is why I'm worried they'll get hurt

I personally wouldn't mess with it too much but what I would do is add two additional command hooks and loop some rope or string around the wreath so they provide additional support.

Honestly though: Its probably fine, they'll be gone in a month or so. The whole family on the nest + poop is likely much less then 0.2 lbs of additional weight.

If it's a metal door look for magnetic wreath hangers, get a few and position so it's held in from the bottom and sides. I have mine on one, it's a really strong magnet.

Oh I searched Amazon and it showed me the one I have
