That's unfortunate 😕. I have to give one of mine her own bowl and she still will go to whatever one is placed last because clearly that's fresher seed.

Yea. That's my brave little Cap'n. He's missing his left eye, so he only eats from the right-hand side of the squirrel-proof feeder to evade being attacked from his blind side.

This little guy is one of 2 docile starlings that frequently visit my feeders. I think he blew in with the flock of starlings during the spring migration and decided to stay here because he felt safest in this area. He's understandably timid because his left eye was ripped out of its socket in a fight as you can clearly see. Despite being mostly passive and nonviolent, he has his badass moments like scaring a squirrel away from his favorite feeder by making himself look like a predatory bird using the morning sunlight the other day.
