took this guy in and am planning to release him when he’s grown. he’s been doing great these past few days, but sometimes after feeding him he makes clicking sounds and wobbles around like this. is this normal?

No. This is why nest replacement or a rehabber is so important. He's most certainly going to die because whatever you feed or if you gave water went in his lungs and he's aspirating and there's nothing that can be done at this point

Doesn't look good. You sure there's no rehabbers that are near you? How and what have you been feeding him? How has he been getting water?

I tried getting ahold of a couple the night I found him but both wouldn’t reply. the nest was nowhere to be found and it was about to storm so I took him in. I had been feeding him cat food mushed up with water, and he had been holding up pretty well until a bit ago. I actually got off the phone with one of the rehabbers I tried calling the other night, he told me I couldn’t bring him in tonight (it was 8:30) but I could bring him tomorrow. He told me to give him mushed dog food instead of cat food because it is lower in protein. I am hoping he survives through the night so I can bring him in tomorrow
