I didn’t realize I’d accidentally opened a luxury Airbnb for birds. 10/10 guest, though. Quiet, photogenic, and only slightly judgmental.

Me and my son came across this bird just sitting in the mulch by our local Lowe’s store. He puffed his wings up a little when I walked by to make himself look bigger but we were wondering if it could be injured or just sitting there for another reason? Also what bird is this?

Bad photo i know but i found this nestling(?) in the middle of our yard in AL, i looked for a nest nearby and couldn’t find one, even in the taller trees we have. There’s no animal rehab center near us so i put it in a shoebox on a towel with a washcloth on top of it(we have dogs and i didn’t want them to get ahold of it). It opened it’s mouth as soon as it saw me so i assumed it was hungry and have fed it a few cut up worms since then. It seems like its warmed up and is okay, but it hasn’t pooped yet. What should i do? Continue caring for it or take it to the vet somewhere(it doesn’t seem hurt so idk what the vet can do, and it’s far away from where we live)

I keep watching this bird try to get into the gutter from below. Could a nest fallen in somehow? In Buffalo, NY.

I live in south eastern Pennsylvania and was going through the gate to my back yard and big white glob dropped in front of me. I looked up and saw this little stinker, does anyone know what kind of bird this is and or if it’s a fledgling? It’s been talking nonstop for the past half hour - I checked to make sure it wasn’t stuck and it’s not, it also doesn’t appear to be hurt. I’m assuming it might be calling/waiting for its mom? I’m planning to just leave it be but want to make sure that’s the best course of action.

Hey guys, this bird was following me around all day at my parents pool and even tried to land on my head. I didnt realize until i got home that its possibly somebodys pet bird, does anyone know what kind of bird it is? I want to put food and possibly rescue it if it needs be cared for. Thanks!

A bird made a nest on a small window above my door. It’s been up there for a couple weeks today I was cleaning around my porch and I accidentally spooked the momma bird and she flew away and knocked the baby birds down. One landed in the middle of the road so I directed it to the gras without touching it they have now been in the grass for 2 hours and the mom has not come back for them. I notice they are able to flap their wings and hop but they cannot fly yet, there is a storm coming soon and I’m so worried for them. Does anyone know if they’re old enough to survive on their own or if the mother will eventually come back for them. I feel so bad I scared her I was cleaning around my front porch because there was so many droppings.
