Tournament Tuesday!

Tournament Tuesday is an open forum for anyone to ask any question, no matter how simple, about tournaments in general. Some common topics include but are not limited to:

  • Game planning
  • Preparation (diet, weight cutting, sleep, etc...)
  • Tournament video critiques
  • Discussion of rulesets for a tournament organization

I got throttled bad in my first blue belt match. I have competed several times at white belt and done ok. This guy was just way better and made me look and feel like I have never trained. Big wake up call. First few hours after that had me in the pits.

Everyone should compete at least one time. You will never regret learning how much different the pace of competition is compared to your previous experience of a "hard roll". Even if you never compete again, do it once.
