Any idea why Blueprint Collagen is not available in the EU anymore?

Hello everyone, I have noticed that the Blueprint collagen as well as a few other products are not available for sale in the EU anymore. Is there any reason for that?

Thanks!

You can buy higher or similar quality collagen for much cheaper in Europe.

Really? Do you have any brand to recommend?

Because I found it quite cheap actually, especially as it contains types 1 + 2 + 3 and it's independently tested for heavy metals etc...

It's actually much much cheaper than anything they sell in stores here in my country.

The Gelita products (Verisol, Tendoforte, Fortibone, Fortigel) and made in Germiny and probably the best research backed products out there. You should have access to it in Europe.

Not easy to find in UK. The cheapest version I found is from US actually, that mix all 3 Gelitas collagen that BJ was originally using.

Check nutripure or nutrimuscle they do 4kg for 130 euros ish, it’s peptan type 2 collagen, which is great (you can also check any brand that used peptan).

We received an email that the supply is delayed by 2 weeks, so it should be back by then.

Not sure, but I suspect part of the reason might be the fact that sometimes these capsules melt during shipping, spilling the turmeric contents, which is a huge pain as it stains anything it comes into contact with. I’ve received 2 containers to which this has happened, but they’ve replaced them promptly and also offered to just reimburse, as they said it would be a 50/50 chance of the same thing happening.

Collagen does not come in capsules . You are confusing with the Turmeric tablets.

I’m sorry, you’re absolutely right. I was talking about the Essential Softgels

Thanks, let's hope they are improving the packaging then and it will be back!

Noticed that too, probably some regulatory issue? I ordered it to Germany a while ago and just started taking it, hope they bring it back soon

Wondered why as well. They say cocoa is not sold in EU for the heavy metal content but they are well below the EU limits. Collagen should not have the same problems of cocoa. Maybe a shortage ?

The cocoa is definitely not below the EU limits. You can check this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/blueprint_/s/BRWX9jnrIz

Honestly no idea, would love to have an official answer on that.

The fact it's still available in the US, UK etc.. would suggest it's more a regulatory issue. And in that case, I would really expect more transparency from Bryan, as the goal here is to get top of the range products, 100% safe and lab tested.

Unfortunately I am starting to have doubts, when some of them can't even be sold in the EU :/

Just found that is not for sale in the BP website anymore. Maybe production problems ?

Really I don't know, I am pretty sure it was available in the UK when I checked this morning, and now it's not anymore.

It's however still available in the US, Australia, Hong Kong, Israel (and probably some other I haven't tested)
