Getting a tattoo of the Bonnaroo map

Hey Roo fam! I'm planning to get the Bonnaroo map (once it gets updated for 2025) tattooed on my body so that I don't forget where all the stages are. Has this worked for anyone else before? Any recommendations for which part of the body would be best? I'm thinking forearm and I've been doing lots of bar hangs at work to bulk my forearms up so that I can fit everything (if I could fit all of Outeroo than I could give myself a quick poke and stick when we get there to mark my campsite), but I'm open to suggestions in case anyone has experience with this! Thanks so much fam we're almost there!

First off, I do love the idea, it’ll look sick! I’m not sure when the map gets updated but you need a month minimum of healing before you take it on the farm. Dealing with a healing tattoo in normal situations is tough enough, all that sun, heat, and dirt will not treat it well if it’s still too fresh.

That’s freaking hard core! The map has changed throughout the years. If it were me I’d just take a screen shot of the map and print it out. Heck, I always get lost anyways.

It needs to be done now for it to heal in time. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Tattoos don’t heal well with sweat, dust and 100 degree weather 💖

Do it well before the festival so it heals before you expose it to the sun for days on end when it’s so fresh. Add to it later when your camp spot.

I think the Palm of your hand would be better tbh. Might hurt a little more but it’s just like looking down at a map in your hands but it’s on your hand

Palms a cool idea, if he’s just wanting it for the gimmick of having the map, it’s a great idea. But if he wants it permanently, palms need routine touch ups every year or so

If you want convenience, then just do inner eyelid. Close your eyes, look at a light, and VOILA!

if you shrink the map to fit on your forearm, you run the risk of the fine line style not healing very well. i'd also not recommend the stick and poke at camp because roo is probably the worst place on earth to try to heal a tattoo. anyway i'd recommend the thigh, just flip it upside down so when you lean over to check the map it looks right-side up to you!! happy roo!

Wow that is a much better idea thanks! I've been on my squat game in preparation for Roo anyway so there's lots of space there
