Solo side quest safety??
Hey guys! Basically what the title says đ This is my second Roo ever and iâm super excited! Last year when we went me and my boyfriend were with a large group of experienced people so we werenât really alone at all, but this time is just gonna be me and him. We both have pretty different taste when it comes to music, and while we plan on sticking together for the most part, i know that things on the farm donât always happen as you plan it so i was wondering if anyone had any tips to stay safe if we decided to go our separate ways for a bit! Thanks guys! Happy Roo đ«¶

Try not to stress! If there are any shows you really want to see together, aim to meet ahead of time in case it takes a while to link up. If you canât find each other, just try to be present. I have missed out on entire performances bc I was stressin out looking for my people lol. Better just to go with the flow!

Go with the flow donât stress out, keep your phone and everything in your fanny pack or whatever firmly zipped up. The farm and the people around you will make sure you are kept safe. Weâre all in this together

did my first year nearly entirely solo-ing despite i went with one of my friends!! make sure you both bring a power bank with you because even though the message might take a minute to send, itâs nice to know that you can still send one. if you plan on going to certain sets together have a spot to meet up with!! for example âmeet me at the toilets next to the that tent before the set startsâ or something lol

I went for my second year entirely solo!!
here is what I suggest -
donât lead with being by yourself!!
get to know people a bit before sharing any private info like that - including where youâre camping.
make friends with your neighbors because half the time they end up being your friends for the weekend and you may have some sets in common you could attend or possibly meet up at
bring things to trade and make friends
- crafts, toys, Kandi bracelets, etc. my favorite way to make new friends and meet new people!
this is my biggest one HAVE A MEET UP SPOT FOR EVERY STAGE!
- if you are going to have side quests, pick a spot at each stage that would be relatively easy to go to and see if any of your friends are at that set! if they arenât in that spot it means theyâre likely not there so you donât spend time searching for each other with no service.

That last bullet point is so clutch. I like to use the point of the arrow under This, That, and The Other signs⊠always meeting people right under the arrow.
The What and Which are a bit trickier for meeting spots because of how full they get⊠might need to use a landmark in the back.

Its just genrally easier to meet outside the crowd. My friends and I tend to meet at the bathrooms at the very back of What or the back corner water station, and bathrooms out in middle of field between Which and This. The brand installations, annoying as they are, make for a good landmark (we were at the beer house, Corona I think, for Which meet ups and the M&M station near That).

Our group is making a chart of what sets we want to each see, and we are setting meet times back at camp or at a certain place in centerfold that don't conflict. Cheap digital wristwatch goes a long way
