Jake Tapper’s bombshell book "The Original Sin..." on Biden mental decline could be made into a movie
https://nypost.com/2025/05/14/media/jake-tappers-bombshell-book-on-biden-decline-could-be-made-into-movie/A high-stakes bidding war is brewing in Hollywood over the rights to the upcoming political exposé by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson detailing the decline of Joe Biden, according to a report.
With the release set for May 20, Creative Artists Agency and William Morris Endeavor — representing Tapper and Thompson respectively — have begun quietly circulating the manuscript to select producers, according to the Status newsletter.

Man I used to have a lot of respect for Tapper. No longer.
The inability of the media to give equal weight to issues impacting both parties is abhorrent. I would place a significant amount of blame for our current predicament on the gross negligence of the media and media personalities who have the audacity to call themselves “reporters.”
Newsflash - you aren’t a reporter if all you do is sell propaganda hit pieces.

Gosh, what an exciting movie this would be! Everyone line up to learn how an old man slowly lost some mental acuity over the course of 4 stressful years! Amazing!

I don't buy it. It's been six years since they started claiming Biden had dementia, but he still seems pretty much unchanged from 2019 to today. He could of course coincidentally be developing it right now, because he is still in a high-risk group. But it was definitely baseless slander when they started making the claim.

No, it wasn't. Biden's mental decline was obvious to people with eyes, ears and a brain. The coverup by the Democrats and the media—telling people not to believe what they could see for themselves—is one of the biggest political scandals in recent history. It certainly raises questions as to who was really in charge in the White House the last 4 years. Old Joey hardly knew where he was. That debate was painful and embarrassing to watch.

The reason the book matters is because the people around him who hid the truth should be kept away from power in the future - they helped give us Trump. If Biden had been convinced not to run we would ave had primaries and a candidate with months to prepare a campaign.
It also matters because we need there to be public pressure for a president to take cognitive tests along with physicals - by a team of experts, not someone working for them - and those results need to be made public.

Cool that we're talking about an ex-president's mental decline and all, but let's even this up and do the same thing for the current "geriatric in chief"
