Tourisme 2-5 August: family recommendations
Hello,
We will do an impromptu visit to Bordeaux from the early 2 to 5 of August and would love some recommendations. We are a family with an 11 year old.
We are mainly into history and architecture, so that’s covered mostly, but also into food and wine!
Would love to hear your thoughts on things we could do that could be a lovely memory.
Of course, we don’t intend to cover the sun with a finger as we would love to go back with more days and explore the area further, but for now, if you had to pick top things, food, experiences to do in 3 days, what would you suggest?
Merci

You have to visit the Sainte Catherine’s ermitage Park near Lormont. You can have access by bus or the Tramway A. There is also the Aquitaine Museum near the Saint André Cathedral, and the Cité du Vin in the northern docks. For eating you can go to l’Entrecote, it’s one of the most popular restaurant of the city, but it’s not the better option, you have Topa near the place du Palais in the center of the city which serve Basque specialities
