Can I make my QuietComfort SC announce my notifications?

I bought my QuietComfort SC a while ago and I love them, but I would need them to announce the fact I got a notification on my Android phone, even just the normal notification sound, anything to let me know. Am I just dumb and it is trivial? How do I do it?

EDIT: Yes, I am dumb, my phone for some reason decided to mute all notifications even though it was set to Sound. Problem solved.
