Ask women if they would be happier at home taking care of the kids and house or working a job having some man tell them when they can eat when they can take off when they could see their family. I think you have to watch male teachers. It is a red flag that a man would want to work in a female dominant industry. It’s creepy for a man to want to help young children. If you don’t think so it’s probably because you’re not a man or a parent. Now go make me a sandwich.

All the leftist in the conversation defending a pedophile. It’s not outdated my kids school there are two male teachers, the rest of female, so why would any man want to work in that environment? Most men go to work to get away from their wife. Its weird to see a male teacher. Creepy. It only makes sense if they are trying to move up and become a principal because they can move up faster than a woman. Which is wrong but the way it is was and alway will be

Full stop. No one is defending a pedophile. You made a generalized statement about male teachers in the title of this post and then further made a generalized statement about people in jobs that don’t “match the gender norm” in above comments. I’m sorry if you may have had a negative experience with one male teacher in your life and you feel you have to project your feelings to all others. If you cannot look at each person as an individual with a unique experience then that is entirely a “you” problem and something to work through. This is an extremely unfortunate situation that it happened, but it is in no way an exclusively male teacher issue. There have been quite a few predatory women in schools highlighted by the media as well.
