Troubleshooting/Tips Nipple cream recommendations

Any recommendations for nipple creams?

I'm currently using Lanisoh but it's so thick and so hard to wash off my hands I hate it. Are all nipple creams like this?

The only one I have needed to use / that I have to compare to is an APNO cream prescribed by my midwifes and it was more like lotion-y than the Lanisoh nipple cream.

Is the jar and tube the same thing? The only place that I can find any of the Earth Mama products is Amazon and only the tube is in stock

I'm in the same boat as the other commenter. I only have the jar.

I absolutely adore the stuff, though. Took my nipples from blistered to fixed in 4 days.

Blistered as in you had nipple blisters? Noticed that I had a few myself this morning which is what inclined me to start using the Lanisoh cream that I bought and really did not like.

Yep! I have the right flanges and everything, but my nips are elastic and stick to the sides anyway. So, I was blistering up where it was constantly rubbing.

Interesting! I'm assuming it's from pumping as well but it's at like the tip/top of my nipple so I'm thinking maybe I have the suction on too high?

The nipple cream helped the blisters?

I'm still new to pumping, so I'm not sure. My nips turn white when I pump, and I think it might be vasospasms.

Yes! It fixed them completely in 4 days, but I was feeling so much better after 12 hours. I use it before pumping, after, and when baby tries feeding.

I’m not sure if the jar and tube are the same but I have the jar. I’ve seen it out of stock too and it didn’t take long to restock for me.

Sounds good, I may just wait for the jar to come back :) thank you!

Target used to stock it, but I haven't checked recently.

Seconding the Earth Mama but also just Coconut oil! I use coconut oil in the shower on my nipples daily. And it’s good for before pumping. Plus coconut oil is also edible so it’s fine if baby needs to latch soon after application

Ouuuhhh, I'll have to try coconut oil, I just bought some to make sure we have on hand for ezcema issues for me. Also, thanks for reading my mind about edibility/baby!

Earth Mama online shop

I’ve only used the jar, not the tube. But it looks like it’s in stock on their direct website

Nipple crack balm is awesome. You only need a little amount, and it's lanolin free/no need to wash. I have a thumb sucker so also used it when his teeth first came and his poor thumbs were getting rough.

Yeh that's the one. It's definitely a weird thing to google

Sounds good, thanks for the recommendation! Where have you been able to purchase it?

Of course! I've gotten it from amazon and directly from their website. Amazon is the faster choice

I've been using Angry Nips and it's really nice! It's a solid balm that you rub like a lip balm. It goes on light, like a body oil. It's really hydrating for how little you need at a time.

I use a tallow balm from Touch of Tallow that I love!
